From the moment the cleaning process begins, until we final inspect and prepare a client’s rug for delivery, your area rug never leaves the sight of a highly experienced rug professional.

Our Cleaning Method

The choice of the proper cleaning system is critical.

•We first inspect the condition of each rug before deciding the appropriate cleaning method to use. During this inspection process, we photograph the textile and forward a detailed report to our client for their record.

•The area rug is then safely exposed to over 40,000 harmonic vibrations per minute designed to force deep-set dirt, sand, dust mites, urine salts, pollen, and other contaminants from the foundation of the area rug.

•We use wool safe approved cleaning solutions to assure the highest level of cleaning performance. Over 95% of area rugs are submerged washed in a bath created just for the textile. Rugs are washed one at a time, on both sides.

•For area rugs that may have pet urine stains and odor, we use live enzymes to attack the offensive bacteria to effectively neutralize the odor and urine salts so that they are flushed away during the cleaning and rinsing process. Rugs requiring this procedure are allowed to soak overnight so that the enzymes have an opportunity to work.

•Upon cleaning, the area rug is pH conditioned rinsed in cold water

•Wool and silk area rugs are dried flat, on an air table

•Final inspection is performed once the area rug is dry

•Upon a successful inspection, the area rug is wrapped and prepared for delivery
